We are excited to announce that our 3rd Madalas for 2024 will be held at a new venue, the area is called “Waterval Onder”.

What is FAST KTM Mountain Madalas?
We offer you the best Enduro routes in the best places possible with the most magnificent views – NO racing, NO pressure, just good fun with friends and the whole family.
IMPORTANT
This year we have decided use W2-Wheels as our federation for the FAST Mountain Madalas events, therefore you will need a W2-Wheels license to participate. If you wish to take out a one-event/one day license this can be done along with your entry – please scroll down.

Details of the ride:
Friday Afternoon Ride – starts at 13:30
BOOKING ESSENTIAL – This will be similar to the blue route of Saturday. Riders MUST do registration first and have their stickers on their bikes in order to be allowed to do the Friday ride. The cost of the ride is R275. Per rider
Saturday – we will have 3 routes that our riders can choice from but are not limited to:
– Green (easy) loop – (GPS) about 3-5 kms , this is for the kids who would like come and ride. This route is marked but we do suggest an adult doing a sighting lap with the kids before sending them on their way.
– Blue Main normal Madalas loop – (GPS) about 25-30 kms. This is lovely flowing riding with a few river crossings, rolling hills and amazing scenery. The blue loop is our normal main loop with a few small challenges , not recommended for beginners.
– Red (Exteme) loop – (GPS) about 25-30 kms which is aimed at our roof riders who want a real challenge.
You will receive points per lap that you do and your total points for the day will represent the finishers medal that you receive.
NOTE: GPS required for Blue and Red Routes.
Entry fee
R1,195. R1,145. for EW Club Members
R845. 2nd Family member – Discount only applies to riders who are Enduro World Club Members)
(2nd family member is a second person’s entry that is a family member living in the same household and this person must be an Enduro World Club Member)
The FAST Crew will be doing a guided ride on the Saturday for those riders who are not sure what to expect from a Madalas ride or for those who would prefer to ride with a group. The FAST team will meet the riders for the guided ride on Saturday morning at 7am, in front of the registration gazebo.
All entry fees include the rental of a Just Trac unit for all our events. The Just Trac unit will be collected at registration and handed in at the finish. Please note that this is not a GPS unit but a tracking device so we can keep track of all our riders.

First 300 to register and pay before 23rd August 2024 @ 5pm will receive your FREE FAST KTM Mountain Madalas T-shirt. This date will also be our CUT OFF for T-shirts so please enter before the 23rd August 2024@ 5pm to avoid disappointment of not receiving your Madalas Tee. To order additional t-shirts for this event please order via our online shop.

13:30 – Friday Ride Starts
15:30 – Cut off time (No more riders allowed out on Friday route)
Saturday – 7th September 2024
06:00 – 09:00 – Registration
06:00 – 09:00 – Start (Kit up and start as soon as you are ready).
(Riders can start anytime between 6:00 & 9:00)
13:00 – Cut off time for Red Route (No more riders allowed out)
15:00 – Cut off time for Blue & Green Routes (No more riders allowed out)
Medals are awarded at the finish line
30 Points will award you a Bronze Medal
60 Points will award you a Silver Medal
90 Points will award you a Gold Medal
Lucky Draw
The lucky draw will take place at 2pm at the Start / Finish of the event. Your registration NAME TAG will get you a lucky draw ticket. This can be handed in to Andre between 1 & 2 pm, at the start / finish, to get a ticket. You do not have to be there to collect your prize but someone from your pits can come and collect your ticket and prize on your behalf.
Please remember to collect your goodie bags, number stickers and T-shirts at register before riding.
