The Michelin EWXC is designed for riders of all ages and skill levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcdd Do I need a race licence?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest changes for 2026 is that <strong>no race licence is required<\/strong> to compete in the Michelin EWXC Series.<\/p>\n<p>Simply enter online through Race Control, bring your bike and riding gear, and you&#8217;re ready to race!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfcd\ufe0f Do I need to belong to a club?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No.<\/p>\n<p>Club memberships are no longer required to race in the Michelin EWXC Series.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf1f I&#8217;ve never raced before. Can I still enter?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Absolutely!<\/p>\n<p>Many riders compete in their very first race with us. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, making the Michelin EWXC the perfect place to start your racing journey.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unsure which class to enter, simply contact us\u2014we&#8217;re always happy to help.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u23f1\ufe0f How long is the race?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Race duration varies depending on your class.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Race 1<\/strong> riders have approximately <strong>4 hours<\/strong> from the start of the first rider.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Race 2<\/strong> riders have approximately <strong>3\u00bd hours<\/strong> from the time the last rider starts.<\/li>\n<li>Junior classes have shorter race times appropriate for their age groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your final lap <strong>must be completed before the cut-off time<\/strong> to count.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udee0\ufe0f What bike can I ride?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any suitable 2 wheels off-road motorcycle may be entered, provided it is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanically sound<\/li>\n<li>Safe to ride<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for off-road competition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both <strong>2-stroke<\/strong> and <strong>4-stroke<\/strong> motorcycles are welcome.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83e\uddba Is protective riding gear compulsory?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p>For your safety, riders must wear:<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Approved helmet<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Goggles<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Gloves<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Enduro or Motocross boots<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Long-sleeved riding gear<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Enduro\/Off-road\/MX pants<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Body armour\/chest protector\/Elbow &amp; Knee Pads (strongly recommended)<\/p>\n<p>Riders without the required safety gear will not be permitted to start.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcbb How do I enter?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entries are completed online on our (Enduro World) webiste.<\/p>\n<p>Once payment has been received, your entry will be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcc5 Can I enter on race day?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p>However where possible, we recommend entering online before the event.<\/p>\n<p>Online entries make documentation much quicker and help us prepare for the day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfc1 What happens when I arrive?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you arrive at the venue you&#8217;ll need to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Complete Registration (Collect envelope)<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Check\/collect your race \/ timing tag<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Collect your JustTrac unit<\/p>\n<p>Please arrive early to avoid unnecessary delays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udd22 Do I need a race number on my bike?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every rider <strong>must display a clearly visible race number<\/strong> on their motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>Your bike number <strong>must match the rider number used on your online Race Control entry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No number = No Start.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udce1 Do I need a Timing Tag?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every rider must have a <strong>&#8220;Tag Time&#8221; timing records your start and every lap and your finishing position.\u00a0 The results will be send on the WhatsApp group while the race is on, allowing riders and their pit crew to check the results during the race.<\/p>\n<p>Official results are published after each event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\uddfa\ufe0f Do I need a GPS?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No.<\/p>\n<p>We do recommend that you ride with a GPS, this is good training, But the Michelin EWXC course is fully marked with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direction arrows<\/li>\n<li>Danger boards<\/li>\n<li>Route markers<\/li>\n<li>Course tape where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Simply follow the course markings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf27\ufe0f What happens if it rains?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event goes ahead in almost all weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>After all&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is Enduro!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes the mud just makes the stories even better!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udd27 What happens if my bike breaks down?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If your motorcycle cannot continue safely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Move it off the course, just enough for riders to pass, but do not stay too far.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you&#8217;re in a safe location<\/li>\n<li>Wait for assistance if required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Always consider the safety of other riders.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udc67 Can family and friends come and watch?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Absolutely!<\/p>\n<p>Spectators are always welcome and many venues offer excellent viewing points, food stalls and a great atmosphere throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udccb Event Day Programme &amp;
