Do you want to start Enduro racing or get back into racing but you are not sure where to start and what to do?\u00a0 This is a step by step guide that will assist you in getting started with racing in our EWXC races.<\/p>\n

  1. Get a Club Membership and W2-Wheels license.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This can be done on our (Enduro World) Website.\u00a0 Once we receive your payment we will then submit your details to W2Wheels for your license.\u00a0 W2-Wheels will email your license to you.\u00a0 \u00a0Click HERE<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for the online applications.\u00a0 When entering and event you need to know if the club hosting the event is affiliated to W2-Wheels or MSA as this will determine the club and license that you need for the event.\u00a0 Enduro World is affiliated to W2-Wheels only.\u00a0 For a One Event \/ 1 Day W2-Wheels license please apply directly on the W2-Wheels website: https:\/\/w2wheels.com\/licenses<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Put your bike \/ competitor number on your bike. \u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      W2-Wheels will issue you with a number for the year.\u00a0 This number must be put on the front number board and on the 2 side panels of your bike.\u00a0 This must please be clear and readable.\u00a0 This is extremely important for timing.<\/p>\n

      1. Create a Race Control profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Our EWXC race entries are done on Race Control.\u00a0 You will need to create a Race Control Profile with all your details, so have them handy when you do this.<\/p>\n

        (NB !!\u00a0 \u2013 When creating your profile please write down your log in details). Here is the link to the Race Control Website: \u00a0\u00a0http:\/\/www.racecontrol.co.za\/Events.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n

        1. What class and Race Regulations?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Please read the race regulations on Race Control or read the below details on the class descriptions.\u00a0 The race regulations will give you all the relevant information regarding the race, such as: time, date, directions to venue, what you need, safety regulations, etc.<\/p>\n

          1. Enter your 1st<\/sup>EWXC<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Click\u00a0HERE<\/a>\u00a0for the link to the Race Control page.<\/p>\n

            Please make sure that the bike number \/ competitor number that you enter with is the same number as the one issued to you by W2-Wheels (Womza) and is the same on your bike.\u00a0 You will need to get a Race Control tag \u2013 this you can buy on race day.\u00a0 Please bring cash \u2013 R150.<\/p>\n

            1. Join\u00a0Whats<\/strong>App Group for the event (Per event)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Make sure you joint the WhatsApp group via the link that you will find on the \u201crace regulations\u201d page on the Race Control website.\u00a0 This is extremely important as this is how we communicate with our riders before the race and on race day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
              Pro Classes\u00a0 (Race: 1)<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Pro Elite<\/td>\nSponsored & very advanced riders on any size enduro bike \u2013 Gold or upper Silver Roof level.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Pro B<\/td>\nAdvanced riders on any size enduro bike \u2013 Silver or upper Bronze Roof level.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Senior Pro<\/td>\nSponsored and advanced riders turning 36 years old in this race year; approximately 75% of race distance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Masters<\/td>\nSponsored and advanced riders over 46 years old in this race year; approximately 50% of race distance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              High School<\/td>\nAdvanced teenage riders from 13 years up to and including 18 years old on bikes up to 200cc two stroke\/ 250cc four stroke\/ 250 Freeride (including 150cc); approximately 75% of race distance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

              Club<\/td>\nFor the not-so-serious club riders with between 1 and 2 years experience who just want\u00a0\u00a0 to have some fun; approximately 50% of race distance<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Pro Mini<\/td>\nFor the faster\/ advanced youngsters between 12 and 15 yrs old on bikes up to 85cc two stroke\/ 150cc four stroke; riding the full track; approximately 50% race distance<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
