EWXC Newbies

Do you want to start Enduro racing or get back into racing but you are not sure where to start and what to do?  This is a step by step guide that will assist you in getting started with racing in our EWXC races.

  1. Get a Club Membership and Womza license.  

This can be done on our (Enduro World) Website.  Once we receive your payment we will then submit your details to Womza for your license.  Womza will email your license to you.   Here is the link:


When entering and event you need to know if the club hosting the event is affiliated to Womza or MSA as this will determine the club and license that you need for the event.  Enduro World is affiliated to Womza only.

  1. Put your bike / competitor number on your bike.  

Womza will issue you with a number for the year.  This number must be put on the front number board and on the 2 side panels of your bike.  This must please be clear and readable.  This is extremely important for timing.  As an Enduro World club member you will get a 10% discount on your a Full Custom Sticker Kit – Bike Decals – www.robertco.co.za

  1. Create a Race Control profile

Our EWXC race entries are done on Race Control.  You will need to create a Race Control Prifile with all your details, so have them handy when you do this.

  1. What class?

Please read the race regulations on Race Control (click here) or click here 2022 EWXC Classes.  The regulations will give a description of the classes so you can see which class you should be racing in.  The race regulations will give you all the relevant information regarding the race, such as: time, date, directions to venue, what you need, safety regulations, etc.

  1. Enter your 1st EWXC

Click on the below link to enter the race 1 for 2022:  http://www.racecontrol.co.za/UpcomingRace.aspx?eventID=71197&Type=Normal

Please make sure that the bike number / competitor number that you enter with is the same number as the one issued to you by Womza and is the same on your bike.  You will need to get a Race Control tag – this you can buy on race day.  Please bring cash – R100.

  1. Join WhatsApp Group/ Telegram Group

Make sure you joint the WhatsApp/Telegram group via the link that you will find on the “race regulations” page on the Race Control website.  This is extremely important as this is how we communicate with our riders before the race and on race day.
