Our Michelin EWXC 2026 race series promises another exciting year of top-quality racing! Whether you’re a first-time racer or a returning rider, this step-by-step guide will help you get started and ensure you’re ready for race day.

🏁 Getting Started with EWXC Racing

1️⃣ Create a Race Control Profile

All EWXC race entries are done through Race Control.
You’ll need to create a Race Control Profile with your personal and bike details — so have them ready when registering.

👉 Important:

  • Write down your login details once your profile is created.
  • Each rider must enter under their own profile. You cannot enter another rider from your profile, as this will cause your entry to be invalid.
  • Visit Race Control here: www.racecontrol.co.za/Events.aspx

2️⃣ Choose Your Class & Read the Race Regulations

You can find the Class Descriptions in the above tabs.  Please read the race regulations carefully — you’ll find them under “Race Downloads” on Race Control.

These documents include all essential information such as race times, venue directions, what to bring, and safety requirements.

3️⃣ Enter Your First EWXC Event

Once your profile is set up, you can enter your first event!

You may enter using your own bike number that is already on your bike. However, if there are duplicate numbers, we will need to issue you with an alternative race number to avoid confusion and timing problems.

You’ll also need a Race Control tag — these are available for purchase on race day for R100 (cash only).

✅ No License or Club Membership Fees for 2026!

We’re excited to announce that for 2026, riders do not need any race licenses or club memberships to compete in the Michelin EWXC series.
Just enter via Race Control and come ready to ride — simple, affordable, and fun!

When doing your online entry with Race Control please just type in the “2026” as a license and club membership number.

4️⃣ Join the WhatsApp Group for Each Event

Each event has its own WhatsApp group for updates and important race-day communication.
You’ll find the group link on the “Race Regulations” page on Race Control, or under the tabs above.
Please make sure you join — this is how we keep riders informed before and during the event.
