For the first time ever, KTM Mega Madalas heads to the beautiful Kingdom of Eswatini!
Join us for two incredible days of adventure riding through spectacular mountains, scenic valleys, river crossings and breathtaking African landscapes. Bring your friends, bring the family and come experience some of the best riding Southern Africa has to offer.

Ride Options
🟢 Green Loop (Easy) – Marked route, approximately 3–5 km. Perfect for younger riders and families.
🔵 Blue Main Loop – GPS route, approximately 25–30 km. Scenic and flowing for riders with some off-road experience.
🔴 Red Extreme Loop – GPS route, approximately 25–30 km. Technical and challenging for experienced riders.
GPS is required for the Blue and Red routes.
FREE Event T-Shirt
The first 300 riders to enter and pay before 7 October 2026 at 5:00 pm will receive a FREE KTM Mega Madalas T-shirt. This is also the official T-shirt cut-off date.

Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation Policy
Should the event be cancelled by Enduro World, a full refund LESS a R50-00 admin fee, will be processed within 3 weeks from the date of the event. Should the event be postponed to a further date Enduro World will keep your funds as a credit for the new dates or for their next event.
Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen issue / problem that is no fault of Enduro World no refunds will be given.
If you cancel 3 weeks prior to the event – no refund will be due to you. This also includes riders who pay and do not pitch up for the event.
If you cancel 5 weeks prior to the event – 50% refund will be due to you
If you cancel 6 weeks or more prior to the event – a 75% refund will be due to you

🏕 Camping: Unfortunately, no camping facilities are available at the venue. Riders wishing to stay on-site are encouraged to book accommodation directly with Emafini Country Lodge.
Riders are encouraged to book early as accommodation in the area is limited and expected to fill quickly.
There are also a number of lodges, guest houses and self-catering options available in the nearby Mbabane and Ezulwini areas for riders travelling with family or support crews.

Medals will be awarded at the finish line on Saturday ONLY.
Lucky Draw
The lucky draw will take place on Saturday afternoon at 14:00 at the Start/Finish area.
Your registration name tag will qualify you for a lucky draw ticket. Tickets can be collected from Andre between 13:00 and 14:00 at the regisration gazebo.
You do not need to be present to win. Someone from your pit crew may collect your ticket and prize on your behalf.

🏅 Medals & Just Trac
All riders will receive a Friday ride medal.
On Saturday, riders will earn points based on the number of laps completed. Your total points for the day will determine the finisher’s medal you receive:
🥉 Bronze (30 points)
🥈 Silver (60 points)

Just Trac Safety Tracking
Your safety is our priority.
Every rider is provided with a Just Trac safety tracking device, which is included in your entry fee.
The device allows the Enduro World team to monitor rider locations throughout the event and respond quickly should assistance be required.
What Just Trac Does
- Tracks riders during the event for safety
- Helps event officials locate riders if assistance is needed
- Allows loved ones at the event or at home to tack their riders
- Works throughout South Africa using the GSM network
- Requires no setup—simply switch it on and ride

Do I need a race licence?
No. A race licence is not required for KTM Mountain Madalas events.
Is this a race?
No.
This is not a race, just a fun ride with your family or/and mates.
Do I need a bike number?
No.
Enduro World will provide a bike number stickers for all our riders. Please make sure you do registration before going out on your ride so we can give you the sticker, name tag, goodie bag and T-shirt (if applicable)).
Which route should I ride?
🟢 Green – Beginners and younger riders
🔵 Blue – Intermediate riders
🔴 Red – Experienced riders looking for a challenge
You may ride more than one route during the event.
Are the routes the same for Friday & Saturday?
No, for the Red and Blue there are separate routes for Friday and another set of routes for Saturday – so you not riding the same routes if you enter for both days. Only the green routes stay the same for both days.
Do I need a GPS?
Yes.
A GPS is required for the Blue and Red routes.
The Green route is fully marked.
Can beginners ride?
Absolutely.
The Green Route has been designed especially for beginners and younger riders.
Can children ride?
Yes.
Children are welcome, but we recommend that younger riders complete a sighting lap with an adult first.

Can I just enter for one day only or do I have to enter for both days?
Yes, there is a option to enter for one day only. This is usually the Saturday but if you wish to ride the Friday only then please choose the Saturday ride only online and, in the comments, or via email please notify us that you wish to ride Friday only.
What is Just Trac?
Every rider receives a Just Trac tracking unit for safety.
The device allows event officials to locate riders quickly should assistance be required. It also allows family members to track their loved ones for peace of mind.
It is not a GPS navigation device.
How do the medals work?
Medals are awarded based on the points you earn by completing laps.
🥉 Bronze – 30 points
🥈 Silver – 60 points
🥇 Gold – 90 points
Is accommodation included?
No.

Mountain Madalas is a family-friendly event, and we encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the weekend.
Is there a Family Member Discount?
Yes.
The first family member pays the standard entry fee.
Additional family members living in the same household qualify for the discounted Family Member entry.
Is there food available?
Yes.
Food and refreshments will be available from the venue or a vendor throughout the weekend.
When do I collect my riders pack?
At registration. Please check the programme tab for the registration times.

How do I qualify for the FREE T-shirt?

Is my bike number my lucky draw number?
No.
Your registration name tag is NOT your lucky draw ticket.
You must hand this name tag into Andre to get a ticket.
Hand it in between 1pm–2pm to receive your draw ticket.
The lucky draw will take place at 2pm at the registration area.
Do I have to be present for the Lucky Draw?
No.
If you have handed in your registration name tag to receive a Lucky Draw ticket, someone from your group may collect your prize if your name is drawn.
