FAST KTM Madalas – 29th April 2023 – Amphitheatre

Our 2nd FAST KTM Mountain Madalas for 2023 will be on the 29th April in Drakensberg, Amphitheatre.

The pitting area is approximately 5km’s radius of The Tower of Pizza restaurant in Bergville.  Google HERE for the maps link to pits.

What is FAST KTM Mountain Madalas?

We offer you the best Enduro routes in the best places possible with the most magnificent views – NO racing, NO pressure, just good fun with friends and the whole family.

IMPORTANT

This year we have decided use Womza as our federation for the FAST KTM Mountain Madalas events, therefore you will need a Womza license to participate.  If you do not have a license you can CLICK HERE to apply online.  If you with to take out a one event/one day license this can be done along with your below entry.  If you already have a club membership and Enduro World license you can use this to enter – please email or WhatsApp me a copy on:  info@enduroworld.co.za or 0832492386.

Details of the ride:

Friday Afternoon Ride – starts at 13:30
BOOKING ESSENTIAL – This will be similar to the blue route of Saturday.  Riders MUST do registration first and have their stickers on their bikes in order to be allowed to do the Friday ride.  The cost of the ride is R250. Per rider

Saturday – we will have 3 routes that our riders can choice from but are not limited to:

– Green (easy) loop – (GPS) about 3-5 kms , this is for the kids who would  like come and ride.  This route is marked but we do suggest an adult doing a sighting lap with the kids before sending them on their way.

– Blue Main normal Madalas loop – (GPS) about 25-30 kms. This is lovely flowing riding with a  few river crossings, rolling hills and amazing scenery. The blue loop is our normal main loop with a few small challenges , not recommended for beginners.

– Red (Exteme) loop – (GPS) about 25-30 kms which is aimed at our roof riders who want a real challenge.

You will receive points per lap that you do and your total points for the day will represent the finishers medal that you receive.

NOTE: GPS required for Blue and Red Routes.

R1,095.                                              R1,045. for EW Club Members
2nd Family member – R795..         R745. for EW Club Members

(2^nd family member is a sibling (under the age of 18) or your spouse living in the same household as the person doing the main member entry)

We have increased our entry fee by R100. per rider, this is because your entry fee will now include the rental of a Just Trac unit for all our events.  The Just Trac unit will be collected at registration and handed in at the finish.  Please note that this is not a GPS unit but a tracking device so we can keep track of all our riders.

First 300 to register and pay before 14th April 2023 @ 5pm will receive your FREE FAST KTM Mountain Madalas t-shirt.  This date will also be our CUT OFF for T-shirts so please enter before the 14th April 2023 @ 5 pm to avoid disappointment of not receiving your Madalas Tee.

Friday – 28th April 2023
12:00 -17:00 – Registration
13:30 – Friday Ride Starts
15:30 – Cut off time (No more riders allowed out on Friday route)

Saturday – 29th April 2023
06:30 – 10:00 – Registration
06:30 – 10:00 – Start (Kit up and start as soon as you are ready).
(Riders can start anytime between 6:00 & 09:30)
13:00 – Cut off time for Red Route (No more riders allowed out)
15:00 – Cut off time for Blue & Green Routes (No more riders allowed out)
Medals are awarded at the finish line

Lucky Draw

The lucky draw will take place at 3pm at the Start / Finish of the event.  Your registration NAME TAG will get you a lucky draw ticket.  This can be handed in to Andre between 2 & 3 pm, at the start / finish, to get a ticket.  You do not have to be there to collect your prize but someone from your pits can come and collect your ticket and prize on your behalf. 

Please remember to collect your goodie bags, number stickers and T-shirts at register before riding.

Online bookings for this event have now been closed for admin purposes – however we will still take manual entries and on the day entries.  Please email Denise on info@enduroworld.co.za for an entry form.   

When doing your bookings please note that a 2nd Family Member is a Sibling (Under age of 18) or Spouse living in the same household as 1st person doing the main entry.  People over the age of 18 must please do their own online bookings.   Our reason for this is because of the online indemnity form that needs to be acknowledged.
