Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation Policy
Should the event be cancelled by Enduro World, a full refund LESS a R50-00 admin fee, will be processed within 3 weeks from the date of the event. Should the event be postponed to a further date Enduro World will keep your funds as a credit for the new dates or for their next event.
Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen issue / problem that is no fault of Enduro World no refunds will be given.
If you cancel 3 weeks prior to the event – no refund will be due to you. This also includes riders who pay and do not pitch up for the event.
If you cancel 5 weeks prior to the event – 50% refund will be due to you
If you cancel 6 weeks or more prior to the event – a 75% refund will be due to you

Just Trac Safety Tracking
Your safety is our priority.
Every rider is provided with a Just Trac safety tracking device, which is included in your entry fee.
The device allows the Enduro World team to monitor rider locations throughout the event and respond quickly should assistance be required.
What Just Trac Does
- Tracks riders during the event for safety
- Helps event officials locate riders if assistance is needed
- Allows loved ones at the event or at home to tack their riders
- Works throughout South Africa using the GSM network
- Requires no setup—simply switch it on and ride

Our routes have been carefully designed to showcase the best terrain the venue has to offer, allowing you to ride at your own pace while enjoying an unforgettable day in the bush.
🟢 Green Route – Easy
Designed for beginners, younger riders and those wanting a more relaxed ride.
- Easy-to-follow marked route
- Short route (about 5 – 8 km’s long)
- Gentle terrain
- Ideal for building confidence
- Adult supervision is recommended for younger riders
🔵 Blue Route – Adventure
Our main route offers scenic bushveld riding with a great mix of flowing trails, river crossings, climbs and natural terrain.
Perfect for riders looking for a fun and rewarding day on the bike.

Built for experienced riders looking for a technical challenge.
Expect tougher climbs, rocky sections, more demanding obstacles and proper Enduro riding.

Friday Warm-Up Ride
Get an early taste of the weekend with our optional Friday Afternoon Ride.

The Friday Ride follows a route similar to the Blue Loop and is a great way to settle in before Saturday’s main event.
Ride Your Way
Mountain Madalas is not a race. Ride at your own pace, enjoy the scenery and choose the routes that suit your ability. You’re welcome to ride more than one route during the event.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a race licence?
No. A race licence is not required for KTM Mountain Madalas events.
Is this a race?
No.
Mountain Madalas is a fun social riding event. Ride at your own pace and enjoy the trails.
Which route should I ride?
🟢 Green – Beginners and younger riders
🔵 Blue – Intermediate riders
🔴 Red – Experienced riders looking for a challenge
You may ride more than one route during the event.
Do I need a GPS?
Yes.
A GPS is required for the Blue and Red routes.
The Green route is fully marked.
Can beginners ride?
Absolutely.
The Green Route has been designed especially for beginners and younger riders.
Can children ride?
Yes.
Children are welcome, but we recommend that younger riders complete a sighting lap with an adult first.
What is the Friday Ride?
The Friday Ride is an optional warm-up ride starting at 13:30.
Booking is essential and costs R275 per rider.
You must register before starting the ride.

Mountain Madalas is a family-friendly event and we encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the weekend.
Is there a Family Member Discount?
Yes.
The first family member pays the standard entry fee.
Additional family members living in the same household qualify for the discounted Family Member entry.
Is there food available?
Yes.
Food and refreshments will be available from the venue throughout the weekend.
When do I collect my rider pack?
At registration.

How do I qualify for the FREE T-shirt?
The first 300 riders who enter and pay before 15 July 2026 receive a FREE KTM Mountain Madalas event T-shirt.
Is my bike number my lucky draw number?
No.
Your registration name tag is NOT your lucky draw ticket.
You must hand this name tag into Andre to get a ticket.
Hand it in between 1pm–2pm to receive your draw ticket.
The lucky draw will take place at 2pm at the registration area.
Do I have to be present for the Lucky Draw?
No.
If you have handed in your registration name tag to receive a Lucky Draw ticket, someone from your group may collect your prize if your name is drawn.
